Mrs. Oma M. Meyer

Mrs. Oma M. Meyer, 82, of 4611 East Seventh died yesterday at the home.  She was born in Wakenda, Mo., and lived in Kansas City 40 years.  She was a member of the Grace Church of the Nazarene.  Surviving are a son, Walden Meyer, Denver; five daughters, Miss Edna Ellen Meyer of the home; Mrs. Myrtkle Thomsen, 2028 Lister; Mrs. Blanche M. Short, 300 East Park, Claycomo; Mrs. Lois Winfrey, Carrollton, Mo., and Mrs. Frances Vansant, Murtaugh, Idaho; a brother, Russell Walden, Galena, Kas.; a half brother, Tom Walden, Hale, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Casebolt, 819 West Alton, Independence; Mrs. Lois Roley, Owasso, Okla., and Mrs. Bessie Robbins, Tulsa; two half sisters, Mrs. Ruby Robbins, Tulsa, and Mrs. Nealie Gierent, Bogard, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.  Services will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday at the Earp chapel, 4707 Truman road; burial in Green Lawn cemetery.  Friends may call from 7 to 9 o’clock tonight at the chapel.
