Mrs. Oma M. Meyer, 82, of 4611 East
Seventh died yesterday at the home. She was born in Wakenda, Mo.,
and lived in Kansas City 40 years. She was a member of the Grace
Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are a son, Walden Meyer, Denver;
five daughters, Miss Edna Ellen Meyer of the home; Mrs. Myrtkle Thomsen,
2028 Lister; Mrs. Blanche M. Short, 300 East Park, Claycomo; Mrs. Lois
Winfrey, Carrollton, Mo., and Mrs. Frances Vansant, Murtaugh, Idaho; a
brother, Russell Walden, Galena, Kas.; a half brother, Tom Walden, Hale,
Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Casebolt, 819 West Alton, Independence; Mrs.
Lois Roley, Owasso, Okla., and Mrs. Bessie Robbins, Tulsa; two half sisters,
Mrs. Ruby Robbins, Tulsa, and Mrs. Nealie Gierent, Bogard, Mo.; 14 grandchildren,
and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday
at the Earp chapel, 4707 Truman road; burial in Green Lawn cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 o’clock tonight at the chapel.
