- BASKET, BOSWELL, BOZZEL, BOZZELL, ELGIN posted by Adam Davis on Tuesday, April 1, 1997
- I'm looking for information on my ancestors in Marshall. A clan of Bozzells (sometimes spelling it BOSWELL) lived there at the end of the 1870s, beginning of the 1880s. William Harrison BOZZEL was town constable. He married Phoebe BASKET 1871 in the home of WC BASKET (father or brother?), with a Mr. ELGIN as witness. In 1879 they had a child, Herbert Elgin BOZZELL -- my ggrandfather, as well as other children. Does anybody know of these families? Are there records of town employees like the constable? Thanks, AD.
